Florida Pilot Project – Early 2026

We are preparing a focused pilot of the Mobile ALPR platform with interested police services in Florida in early 2026. The goal is to:

  • Show how Android‑based ALPR can augment existing in‑car systems.
  • Demonstrate the crowd‑sourced reporting model under agency control.
  • Test portable solar‑powered units in real‑world conditions.
  • Gather feedback from front‑line officers, supervisors, and analysts.

What Participating Agencies Receive

  • Access to the Mobile ALPR Android app for pilot devices.
  • A secure dashboard environment for your agency.
  • On‑site or virtual orientation for command staff.
  • Assistance in setting up a small group of authorized public reporters (if desired).
  • Participation in the feature roadmap and deployment model.

We are specifically looking for agencies that are open to testing new technology in a controlled and lawful way, with an emphasis on officer safety and community benefit.

About the Founder

David L. Chatten, LL.B. is a former traffic court prosecutor with hands‑on experience in:

  • Traffic stops and roadside investigations.
  • Evidence collection and disclosure obligations.
  • Chain of evidence and documentation standards.
  • Technology in court – how evidence is challenged and defended.

This background shapes how Mobile ALPR is deployed: as a lawful, accountable tool that helps officers create reasonable suspicion, document their observations, and preserve the integrity of evidence.

Meet in Florida

David will be touring Florida in early 2026 to meet with police services, demonstrate the app and dashboard, and discuss deployment models.

If your agency is interested in a meeting, please let us know:

  • Whether you prefer an in‑person or virtual session.
  • Which units or divisions would attend.
  • What challenges you hope ALPR can help address.

Build the Florida Interest List

We are building a list of interested police services across Florida now. By signing a non‑binding letter of interest, your agency:

  • Signals its interest in participating in the pilot.
  • Helps us plan routes and demonstration schedules.
  • Receives early updates on technical and legal developments.

The letter of interest is not a contract – it simply indicates that your agency is open to further discussion.
